Permit Information - 2024 Season
Permit prices remain the same as last season and are excellent value. Permits can be obtained from the outlets shown below. Please observe and follow the rules & regulations of the river below at all times. A catch return by 15th November is required for all season and day ticket permits. (See rule 13).

Send an email with your name and address to eaasecretary2022@gmail.com when correct payment has been made and once confirmed, I will send out the permit and an acknowledgement email. Once you have an acknowledgement and are waiting for the permit to arrive, you can use the email as a temporary permit.

Rules and Regulations of the Association
The season will extend from 15th February to 31st October inclusive for salmon/sea trout and from 15th March to 6th October inclusive for brown trout.
NO SUNDAY FISHING.
Brown trout measuring less than 12 in. and Sea trout less than 12in. must be returned to the water. The mixed bag limit is 3 Trout which can be sea or Brown Trout per day. As the river is currently designated by Marine Scotland as mandatory catch & release for Salmon, until further notice all salmon caught must be returned to the river regardless of condition.
Only one rod is allowed by an angler and it must not be left unattended.
Members and ticket holders shall avoid damaging crops, fences and trees, leave no litter, shut all gates, will no light fires and follow the country code.
Parking will be in designated area only.
The members and officials of the association have power to inspect the ticket of every person fishing and to see the fish in their possession.
The committee has the right to refuse any application for membership or visitor ticket.
Members are expected to report all cases of suspected illegal fishing to the secretary or committee.
Members are reminded that it is an offence to kill unclean or gravid fish.
It is illegal to use as bait natural prawn or shrimp or any part thereof.
Gaffing is strictly forbidden throughout the season.
Details of all Salmon (Salmon.5lb), Grilse (Salmon <5lb), Sea trout (>1lb), Finnock (Sea Trout <1lb) and Brown Trout caught must be made either using the online form, or by returning the catch return form provided with your permit to the Secretary before the 30th NOVEMBER. Failure to do so may result in refusal of next year’s ticket.
All Anglers must carry and use a disgorger.
Bait fishing is by single hook only.
Climbing trees is forbidden.
EDEN ESTUARY LOCAL NATURE RESERVE - It is a condition when fishing the Estuary at Kincaple that all Anglers must comply with the Local Nature Reserve byelaws at all times.
